Doing activities with your pets helps reduce your stress! If you don’t have any pets don’t worry!

Note: These activities are a way to help reduce stress while you are at home. If you are not at home, I would recommend you go straight to “Other Resources” (on page 4 at the bottom).

How Do Pets Help Reduce Our Stress:

First off, pets give us a happy distraction

They love us unconditionally

They encourage us to go outside for a walk

Pets help us lower our blood pressure by petting them

Lastly, they make us laugh

Activities to do with your dog:

  • Or just simply go on a walk
  • Pet and cuddle with your little furry baby
  • Play fetch, tug-of-war, etc.
  • Brush your dog and even give them a bath

Activities to do with your cat:

  • Get a string and feather and make a cat toy
  • Sunbathe together
  • Play with a laser pointer or use your new cat toy (second activity)
  • Take your cat on a walk
